Scrimmage

The weekly night scrimmages have been a mainstay of Wellington ice hockey since the beginning. Everyone is welcome, but the Monday night sessions generally tend towards intermediate/advanced so some skating ability is recommended. Sometimes due to circumstances at the rink, these scrimmages are cancelled at short notice, check out the events on the Wellington Ice Hockey group on Facebook before you leave the house in order to avoid disappointment

Events for scrimmages can be found under the events tab on the page ( you should receive an invite if you are a member of the wellington ice hockey Facebook page ) and we would appreciate you indicating if you are attending or not. We have a minimum number to make these events happen so they may require postponement if we don't get the numbers confirmed.  Get in touch via our contact page if you're keen to get on the ice but aren't sure of the best time to try it out. We're always happy to help new players get started!
